Luke Hilton and Joshua Waller discussed the precision strikes carried out by Israel’s military in the Gaza Strip.
“Israel carried out precise strikes, and I do mean precise – even taking out a bedroom of an apartment building without damaging the rest of the building,” Hilton said during the Aug. 21 episode of “The Israel Guys” on Brighteon.TV. The strikes took out terrorists and terrorist leaders who were about to carry out attacks against the Israeli population.
“They even found a tunnel that was leading from the Gaza Strip into Israel meant for terrorist attacks.”
In response, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad – another faction aside from the Hamas group in the Gaza Strip – launched more than a thousand rockets toward Israel. One Israeli home was struck by a rocket. Another fell short and landed inside Gaza, killing four Palestinian Arab children.
Hilton pointed out that Israel has the Iron Dome air defense system to protect the country from rocket attacks. The biggest casualties are the Palestinian people – citing the faulty rocket that killed four children as an example.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Capt. Ben Rosner told the New York Post back in May 2021: “More than 1,050 rockets have been fired towards Israel, and the Iron Dome has had an 85 percent to 90 percent interception rate.”
Meanwhile, Waller commented that the outrageous hate speech directed against the nation of Israel was a call to end the two-state solution because the Palestinians want all of the lands. The accusations lobbed against Israel, he added, were lies being spread throughout the United States.
Hilton then played footage of a recent protest in New York City to back up his co-host’s argument. He said the rally was reportedly a response to the conflict in Gaza. (Related: Watch: Canada students chant ‘Jews are our dogs’ in anti-Israel protest.)
According to Waller, standing with Israel is standing for life, not death and destruction. He explained that the terrorists in Gaza are making basic homemade rockets and launching these toward populated civilian areas in Israel in order to bring destruction and death.
His co-host Hilton agreed, pointing out that the rockets launched by Palestinians are killing their own people. He added that the IDF has been known to abort missions whenever civilians are near their intended targets.
The two hosts of “The Israel Guys” also took jabs at the United Nations and agencies under it for their condemnation of Israel’s strikes on Gaza.
According to Waller, the UN’s approach to the situation in Israel is “incorrect and inconsistent” because the country has the right to protect its citizens. The jihadists in Gaza are attacking Israel by means of rockets, so Israel is only retaliating by killing the terrorists responsible for the attacks.
Moreover, Israel needs to completely wipe out all the terror infrastructure that undermines its national security – something it is doing right now. There is no disproportionate force against terror, Waller pointed out, because it needs to be completely eradicated.
According to Hilton, a person needs to strike back in self-defense whenever someone attempts to kill them. Waller compared this to Israel’s situation, saying that the country is simply defending itself from terrorist attacks.
